Another sydney building company has fallen leaving at least 60 creditors out of pocket and owing more than $1 million in debt.
Simone Homes Pty Ltd went into voluntary liquidation on Thursday, August 24 with insolvency firm PKF’s Bradley John Tonks acting as the company’s liquidator.
The business is family-run and was established in 2014 and based in Leppington in Sydney’s south-west.
According to a creditor’s report they owe at least $1.65 million to 11 secured and 53 unsecured creditors, including banks, subcontractors, customers, suppliers and the Australian Tax Office.
Many creditors are still yet to submit proof of debt claims with the amount owed expected to rise when they come in.
Six construction sites are believed to have been affected by the collapse of the company.
Their full website is currently inaccessible, reading “We’re building a new client experience” when redirected by the link, accompanied by their email and phone number.
Simone Homes’ social media pages can also no longer be accessed.
The company was a building partner with Leppington Living and described themselves as “your trusted home builders in Sydney” on their profile.
