12 men and women banned from running businesses in Cornwall – Cornwall Live

Several men and women across Cornwall are currently banned from running a company. The list includes bosses from construction companies, food businesses, electrical contractors, carbon traders, cleaning companies.

Most of them are banned from running a business or being a company director for between four and six years. The majority of those below were involved in business failures that left thousands of pounds in unpaid debts.

Anyone can be banned from being a company director if they dont meet their legal responsibilities. Unfit conduct includes allowing a company to trade while insolvent, not keeping proper accounts, not submitting accounts to Companies House, not paying tax or using company cash for their own benefit.
