This is one of the catch-phrases of an accountant, liquidator and self-described profit coach who has landed in hot water after failing to manage his own money correctly.
Murray Allott now owes IRD more than $800,000 and has temporarily had his membership with the NZ Institute of Chartered Accountants suspended, pending another more substantive hearing into his conduct.

Allott went before a disciplinary tribunal last month to assess his suitability to remain as an accountant giving advice on insolvency given he is facing his own financial difficulties.
