Two film investment companies which Ive exposed now face being shut down.
The High Court heard this week how Spice Factory Limited and Gummy Bear Films Limited raised around £3million from members of the public for an animated film, supposedly featuring the voice of John Travolta.
They were promised a 125% return as soon as the film was released, plus royalties for the next 25 years and more money from merchandising.
But the film was never made and a supposed contract with Travolta that was shown to investors was never signed. Investors had been led to believe that he would star – getting paid $1million for two days voice-over work – along with his wife Kelly Preston and daughter Ella.
