A PORT Talbot engineering company with strong links to the steel industry has closed, resulting in the loss of 250 jobs in the area.
Fairwood Fabrications has announced it will cease trading after going into liquidation. The company has been involved in the steel industry for more than 35 years.
The company had supplied Tata Steel and was involved in making steel buildings and other products across the UK.
