FUNDRAISING ACT: Tayo Aluko
AWARD WINNING playwright and singer Tayo Aluko is to help raise funds for a centre campaigning to improve the rights and lives of women.
Aluko is among artists who will perform at the Crossroads Womens Centres fundraising concert on Saturday (Oct 27). The event, at the community centre in Wolsey Mews, Camden, north London houses, starts at 7.30 pm.
The Liverpool-based playwright is best known for Call Mr. Robinson , his one-man show based on the life of African-American singer, actor and civil rights activist Paul Robeson.
