BARNSTAPLE is to lose its BHS store after the company announced it was going into liquidation.
It brings to an end a turbulent few months for staff at the Green Lanes store, who have been left in limbo after the company went into administration in April.
Philip Duffy and Benjamin Wiles, managing directors of administrators Duff & Phelps, today announced “the orderly wind down of the BHS business”. It means all 163 stores will close resulting in up to 11,000 job losses.
