The Blackwater Country Club and Mine Workers Clubs have been a part of the social fabric of the town of Blackwater for decades, but their future looks a little uncertain at the moment.
The community clubs have gone into voluntary administration with the economic downturn in the region causing financial difficulties for the clubs.
Zoe Hodkin is one of the Board Members of the Blackwater Mine Workers Club who explains what is happening.
A meeting is being held on Wednesday night at the Blackwater Mine Workers Club to discuss the issue further.
