Air operator Citywing has ceased trading and gone into liquidation.
The operator, which runs the Cardiff to Anglesey services , has instructed passengers not to turn up to the airport this morning as “nobody will be there to assist”.
Czech company Van Air secured the contract to fly aircraft from Valley to the Welsh capital last year with Citywing acting as booking agent.
But Van Air has had its entire fleet grounded by the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) after one of their flights failed to land in Northern Ireland in stormy weather last Thursday and had to return to the Isle of Man.
And late last night Citywing announced all flight from March 11 onwards have been cancelled.
