- Donna Briggs told police that he had hit her in the head and broken a door
- Retired trooper opened fire on two toll booth workers in Pennsylvania
- Police at the scene opened fire on Briggs who was then killed
- Victims were Daniel Crouse, 55, was a toll booth worker and Ronald Heist, 71 , a security guard, contracted out by Penn Turnpike
