Concerns have been raised over the future of around 40 engineering and manufacturing jobs in Derry after a local company entered administration.
The Derry News understands that Sphere Global started liquidation proceedings last week and the jobs of around 40 staff at the company may be at risk.
The company was founded in 2013 by Managing Director Sean McNicholl and works to ‘design state-of-the-art automation solutions to minimise costs and maximise the efficiency and accuracy throughout your process’.
It is based on a 70,000sq site in the Campsie area.
Sphere Global employs people across manufacturing, engineering, IT, compliance and finance.
