Family-owned builder Richard Crookes Construction, which has delivered landmark buildings like Sydney Modern Art Gallery and UTS Central, denies market speculation that it is preparing to call in Deloitte for a voluntary administration.
Street Talk previously reported 47-year-old construction business was mulling its future, as the sector struggles from input cost inflation. It followed the collapse of well-known builders like Porter Davis and ProBuild. Deloitte was understood to be on the scene.
Sources close to Richard Crookes said it hadnt engaged with Deloitte in any way, shape or form to discuss a voluntary administration.
