Rod Culleton says he has some significant achievements under his belt as a senator for Western Australia and people will grieve for him.
The former One Nation senator is set to leave parliament this year either as a bankrupt or if the High Court decides he was ineligible to run at the July 2016 election.
Mr Culleton, who will hold a media conference in Perth on Monday, claimed in a statement he had successfully forced the High Court to change its rules, formulated terms of reference for a banking royal commission, made changes to workplace laws and improved the backpacker tax.
