The doors at Broderick Motors Holden have been closed this week amid rumours it was facing financial troubles.
Reports had been circulating in Parkes on Tuesday that the business one of Parkes oldest had suddenly shut down.
Later that afternoon principal Andrew Broderick confirmed the reports were true.
