KUALA LUMPUR: A 77-year-old disabled woman has disowned her son-in-law who used her address and phone number to borrow money from Ah Long, resulting in harassment from the loan sharks over his debts.
Tang May Yoke said that she had been harassed several times by Ah Long as the son-in-law, Chu Sai Cheung, 67, had disappeared without paying his debts.
She faced the press yesterday accompanied by MCA Public Services and Complaints Department chief Datuk Seri Michael Chong to publicly disown her son-in-law.
