PARAMUS The family of a Paramus man found dead in Palisades Interstate Park is asking for help paying for funeral expenses and to settle $50,000 of student debt he left behind.
The family of Colin Everett said on a GoFundMe page said they are now responsible for Everett’s student debt.
Everett went missing in late June in the park overlooking the Hudson River. He was hiking, his father, Timothy Everett, said.
Police found his body July 7 on a cliff ledge, where it had apparently been for several days, Palisades Interstate Parkway Police said. His death does not appear suspicious.
