Airlines for Australia and New Zealand Chair Graeme Samuel has outlined a potential process for Bonza to re-enter the market after it entered voluntary administration.
On Tuesday, Bonza submitted paperwork to the Australian Securities & Investments Commission (ASIC) to appoint administrators to salvage the wreckage of its struggling business.
Speaking to Business Now host Ross Greenwood on Tuesday afternoon, Mr Samuel said many startup airlines have ended up ceasing operations and explained the double-pronged reason for Bonzas nosedive.
Mr Samuel said one of the potential causes for Bonzas business bow out was that the company picked up regional routes that were not being serviced by anyone else.
