A gambler off his face on booze set fire to the garage of a house while a Coventry mother and her young daughter were asleep upstairs – and then torched a car outside a nearby address.
Kieran Alldrick carried out the drunken attack after downing almost two gallons of booze because of his “state of pent-up angst” over a cycle of debt and gambling, it was said.
Alldrick, 29, of Carol Crescent, Stoke Aldermoor, was jailed for 28 months after pleading guilty at Warwick Crown Court to two charges of arson being reckless whether lives were endangered.
