FRANKFURTGerman Vice Chancellor Sigmar Gabriel said that Greeces debt burden needed to be reduced, signaling a clash inside the German government as key decisions loom for Athens creditors.
Mr. Gabriel, who heads the left-of-center Social Democrats, a junior partner in Chancellor Angela Merkels coalition government, said in comments published Saturday that the eurozones finance ministers must find a way to help Greece break out of its vicious circle when they meet on Monday.
