People struggling to pay off their student loans in Wisconsin may get some relief soon.
On Monday Governor Scott Walker unveiled a series of proposals he hopes will make college more affordable.
The governors plan includes tax relief for anyone paying off a student loan, help for those facing financial emergencies, and additional aide for students seeking a degree at a technical college.
Right now more than 8 hundred thousand people in Wisconsin have student loan debt, and Democratic lawmakers claim 70 percent are over the age of 30.
