In 2022 one-third of Pakistan suffered from extensive flooding. India had one of the wettest months of January, with precipitation levels 129% above average and the driest and hottest March in over 121 years.Droughts afflicted the eastern part of Africa, and central and western regions were drenched with floods.
As the impacts of climate change become more and more evident, it is clear that we need to take urgent action to address this global crisis. Developing countries, in particular, are vulnerable to the effects of a changing climate, and they often lack the resources to adapt and mitigate these impacts.
