Pet Product Distribution has gone into insolvency, with a meeting of creditors held on April 28.
The company supplied European-manufactured bird and small animal cages and had a UK supply agreement with German company Nobby, which supplies a range of 6,000 pet accessories for dogs, cats, small animals and birds.
In July last year, the distributor changed ownership and came under the management of husband-and-wife team Jeff and Carolyn Pascoe.
In January, grooming business Precious Pets London sought voluntary liquidation and had a meeting of creditors. Charlotte Nash established Precious Pets London in 2012 with her business partner and brother, Gregory. They launched to market at Crufts in March 2013.
