Bankrupt mining magnate Joseph Gutnick’s wife has told an investigation into his financial affairs she knew little of his business interests but was “always signing things”.

“I remember signing secretary a lot,” Stera Gutnick told an examination in the Federal Court on Monday.

Mrs Gutnick and her son Mordechai are being questioned in the witness box on Monday as part of an examination into Mr Gutnick’s financial affairs after he declared bankruptcy last July, owing creditors over $275.5 million.
