UPDATE: QUESTIONS remain unanswered about the future of Eguana Holdings Pty Ltd following today’s meeting with creditors.
Australian Manufacturing Workers’ Union state organiser Todd Nickle said investigations into the company were ongoing by liquidators.
Mr Nickle said a large number of workers were still owed seven months superannuation.
“It seems to be quite widespread,” he said.
Mr Nickle said overseas former Eguana Holdings CEO William Van Vliet joined the meeting via a video conference and he maintained the superannuation had been paid to the Australian Taxation Office.
Mr Nickle said Eguana Holdings had been taken over by overseas company Feld Capital.
