Stripper and one-time prostitute Lisa Lewis’ boxing promotion company has failed after just getting off the ground.
Grant Wills of Insolvency Services NZ confirmed he is putting Rampage Promotions Ltd into liquidation as the company owes 22 creditors between $45,000 and $48,000.
Some of those out of pocket from her April event include New Zealand boxers, fight judges, a hotel chain, musician King Kapisi, and well-respected ring announcer Daniel Hennessey.
Mr Wills says there is also a bank debt of $80,000, but the bank may wipe that. Some people including American fighter Mia St John was paid, and Women’s Refuge was also paid its promised $10,000 donation.
He expects to release his report on the company’s liquidation …
