The Mad Butcher store in Silverdale has been placed in liquidation at the request of the Inland Revenue Department.
The owner of the Mad Butcher store in Silverdale has been placed into liquidation.
It is at least the seventh franchisee of the discount butcher chain to go under in the past 18 months.
Inland Revenue Department had made an application to liquidate the company, Lovett & Sons, which owned the Mad Butcher store in Silverdale, north of Auckland.
