AMERSHAM, England–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Today, the law changes to allow the reforms under LASPO (Legal Aid,
Sentencing Punishment of Offenders Act 2012) to apply to insolvency
proceedings. It will fundamentally improve the way cases are resolved
for creditors, with significantly greater returns and more rapid
resolutions compared to CFA/ATE cases.
The reform, instigated by the Ministry of Justice, was announced to
Parliament last December after an extensive stakeholder consultation.
