AUSTRALIAN Textile Mills (ATM) is seeking voluntary redundancy applications from 20 of its Wangaratta factory staff and will change some of the ways in which it makes its specialist textiles in the face of skyrocketing energy costs.
Mill management at briefings on Thursday and Friday sought expressions of interest from workers in the redundancy offer and hopes to make the cuts effective before the end of September.
