Gold Coast chief executive Graham Annesley believes his club’s new base at Parkwood International will be the difference between attracting marquee players to the NRL club and missing their signatures.
The Titans returned to pre-season training on Thursday at their new base, which includes altitude chambers, hydrotherapy baths, a three-lane pool, gymnasium to go along with the administration block, dedicated training field and medical facilities next door.
“If the offers are relatively equal, then things like this can make a big difference,” Annesley said.
“If you brought a player to have a look at our facilities last year, and you bring that same player back this year, it’s chalk and cheese.”
