An online alcohol retailer that specialises in Australian craft gin has gone into administration just a month after announcing it was up for sale.
According to the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC), Gintonica went into insolvency on June 21, with David Ross from I & R Advisory appointed as administrator.
Gintonicas founder David Box had posted on social media last month that after six years he was selling the company.

Time to pass the baton to fresh passion, new ideas and better skill sets, he wrote.
Box said he would still remain in the industry, but with a focus on contract bottling.
