BHS has just 10 more days to secure a white knight that could save the chain from disappearing from the high street, a restructuring expert has warned.
Opus Business Services Groups Nick Hood, who worked as an administrator for 23 years advising retailers, made the claim in the same week that BHS administrator Duff & Phelps admitted investors, including Sports Direct, are still eyeing up parts of the business.
BHS is dying by the day as stock runs low and customers begin to think about where they will shop instead, said Hood.
Speed is of the essence to get any deal done, he added.
The 163-stores chain is still trading but all stores are winding down to close by the end of July.
