A private hospital in the New South Wales central west has entered voluntary administration less than two years after opening.

The Orange Private Hospital employs 64 staff along with 32 surgeons, which operate out of the seven-theatre facility.
The hospital only opened in July 2021, as part of a $50 million major health precinct project led by developers Zauner Construction and James Richmark Pty Ltd.
In a statement, administrator Ernst & Young said its “primary objective was to secure a longer-term future for the organisation”.
