Victorians left out of pocket by failed builders shed tears of relief on Saturday night after the state government expanded its rescue package triggered by the collapse of Porter Davis to compensate an extra 400 customers.
Treasurer Tim Pallas expanded compensation at an estimated cost of $13 million to refund families who were excluded from the initial $15 million scheme announced by Premier Daniel Andrews in April for some 600 Porter Davis customers.
