Q. I have a daughter who lives in another state, and she is having financial problems. I suggested that she contact a credit counseling agency in her area to see if she could get some help. She did contact someone, but the organization wanted her to sign a cease and desist order and some other unusual forms. This didnt sound right to me, so I told her not to sign any of the forms.
