The Simpatico Connection Pty Ltd has gone into liquidation. Stanley Morgan Accountants’ Brendan Nixon has been appointed liquidator of the business on June 17, 2016.
The Simpatico Connection is the company behind a women’s conference at which Hollywood actress Reese Witherspoon was to be a speaker. The event was to be held at Sydney’s Dockside Pavilion.
Sources said that poor tickets sales are a factor in the troubles of the company. Reports say the company is facing $2.1 million debts.
