MAJOR corporate restructuring at Sunshine Coast Council is set to radically reshape the organisation with three of five of its most senior directors deciding not to recontest new positions.
Director of Infrastructure Services Andrew Ryan and Director of Corporate Services, Ray Turner, will leave the organisation after long careers next Friday with Director of Community Services, Coralie Nichols to follow a week later.
At this stage it appears only Director of Corporate Strategy and Delivery, Greg Laverty, and Director of Regional Strategy and Planning, Warren Bunker, have chosen to contest new positions as part of a restructure unanimously backed by councillors at a closed-door meeting on September 19.
