The family behind a contractor facing more than $500,000 payment claims over a Kalbarri tourism project endured a corporate collapse 18 months ago.
Antonio Sita, whose son Anthony owns Civils WA, put Woodstock Civil & Drainage into voluntary liquidation in December 2015 with a reported $2.2 million in debts.
Anthony Sita has blamed Civils WAs unpaid bills on a $1.4 million payment claim against head contractor Watpac over the Kalbarri skywalk development.
According to the minutes of a Woodstock creditors meeting last year, Antonio Sita said the company had a $2.2 million claim against contractor BGC over the Roy Hill iron ore project in the Pilbara.
