President Donald Trump warned Puerto Rico that the federal government would not provide unlimited help to the island which was devastated by Hurricane Maria, just one week after he said he would not rest until the US territory in the Caribbean was safe.
Following a widely-panned visit to Puerto Rico aimed at easing criticism of his handling of the recovery effort, Mr Trump said the territory was a disaster before the storm struck and should not expect to get help from emergency responders forever.
