The owner of a rogue tyre recycling business has been accused of failing to pay his suppliers hundreds of thousands of dollars and of deliberately liquidating debt-ridden companies to escape creditors, as the Queensland Government looks at ways to shut down the business.
Tony Di Carlo’s Tyremil group of companies remain under investigation by a joint Queensland Government taskforce, three months after 7.30 first aired claims that his tyre recycling business was an environmental disaster waiting to happen.
