The holiday has been cut short for customers of U.K.-based cruise line operator All Leisure Holidays Ltd.
The company, which operates the cruise lines Voyages of Discovery and Swan Hellenic, sought the British equivalent of chapter 11 protection on Wednesday, leading to thousands of canceled vacations.
The U.K.s Civil Aviation Authority, which regulates the nations travel companies, said that it was making arrangements to provide full refunds to All Leisures customers protected by the Civil Aviation Authority, of the roughly 7,000 bookings for future vacations that are now canceled.
