TWO people have lost their jobs at an Argenton mining machine company that has been placed in administration almost seven years to the day after it last hit turbulence.
Local insolvency specialists Rapsey Griffiths were on Friday appointed as voluntary administrators of Waratah Engineering, formerly trading as Kopex Waratah, a company that made headlines in The Herald in July, 2009, when it was placed in administration with debts of about $14 million.
The companys parent company is Polish-based Kopex Machinery, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Kopex SA Poland.
