FRANKFURT (dpa-AFX) – Pharmaceuticals and agrochemicals group Bayer plans to streamline its management, according to a media report. Group CEO Bill Anderson, who has been in office since June, first wants to launch a program for greater efficiency and bureaucracy reduction before a possible major realignment, the Reuters news agency wrote on Thursday evening, citing people familiar with the matter. In particular, upper and middle management positions would be affected. A company spokesman would not comment on the report when asked.
