West Perth have gone into voluntary administration as they attempt to deal with debts that have blown out to more than $600,000.
But as WAs oldest football club battles to avoid collapse, the WA Football Commission has provided a $250,000 loan that will keep the Falcons afloat for the rest of the season.
The loan will be quarantined to pay players and staff rather than reduce the debt that president Scott Ballem said was crippling the club.
