College debt relief: a beginning – The Sun Current

As I knock on doors to find out what issues are important to our community members, crushing student debt is a big issue I hear about with unfortunate frequency. This issue continues to heavily impact many Minnesotans, not just current college students and graduates, but parents and high school students looking to plan for post-secondary education.

While we have a tremendous amount of work in front of us to reverse this trend, a post-secondary degree is still a valuable investment, and Id like to share with you some resources to help hold down the debt loads students often face upon graduation.
