Deeds Brewing assesses urgent sale, recapitalisation options as brewery enters external voluntary administration – Sky News Australia

A renowned Australian brewery could soon be forced to shut its doors after entering voluntary administration over a racked-up taxation debt and soaring operational costs.

Award-winning Deeds Brewing based in Melbournes Glen Iris appointed administrators for multiple companies under its banner on Wednesday to gauge the most financially viable model for the business moving forward.

Deeds confirmed it would continue beer production as normal and keep its taproom and kitchen venue in Glen Iris open for the time being while external administration remained underway.

David Orr and Glen Kanevsky from Deloitte Financial Advisory have been appointed joint administrators and are currently evaluating pathways for Deeds.
