Nathan Tinkler, who was declared bankrupt last March, arrives at the Federal Court in Brisbane today to apply for permission to be allowed to leave the country.
BANKRUPT former billionaire Nathan Tinkler is locked in a legal stoush over whether he can travel to New York for a job interview and to Hawaii to catch up with his kids all paid for by his father Leslie.
The former mining magnate has arranged a job interview in Manhattan with a company involved in the mining industry on February 1 and must seek permission from his bankruptcy trustee for the trip.
Failure to obtain permission can result in Mr Tinklers bankruptcy being extended for up to eight years along with a prison term.
