A company that labelled itself as a leader in demolition and construction service has collapsed and is seeking a buyer.
With research showing that Australian business activity was at “disturbingly” low levels, sydney-based DB Group Global, DB Scaffolding & Rigging Australia and DB Group Services have gone into voluntary administration.
DB Group refused to comment.
Administrator Adam Shepard of Setter Shepard said the company was still trading and he was continuing his investigations.
“We are putting the business up for sale,” he said.
Mr Shepard said the company did not have a large staff.
According to DB Group’s website the privately-owned company has operated for the past 15 years.
“DB Group Global have successfully completed many large, high-profile projects from concept to completion. Leaders in Demolition & Construction Services,” it said.
The website said DB Scaffolding & Rigging Australia was a leader in scaffolding supply – project design and management solutions in greater Sydney.
Some of the projects it has worked on include the AMP Quay Quarter Development, the Darling Exchange Precinct, Barangaroo and the University of Technology Sydney.
