From the Oscars gift bags to voluntary administration – The Megna Group, founded by trailblazer Lana Kruger, has folded just eight years after it launched.
The Megna Group, which is based in the Port of brisbane, was founded by Lana Kruger in 2018 who at the time was the first female CEO and founder of a logistics company in Australia.

Cor Cordis’ Darryl Kirk and Stephen Earel are the administrators of the company and Megna BKC.
Kirk says Megna has 17 staff and first meeting of creditors will be held within a week.
“The business unfortunately looks like it will close down, although we’re in the early stages of our investigation,” he says.
“It looks like they lost a customer that was 50 per cent of their turnover and they haven’t been able to recover from that. It’s a big shock to a business and when they can’t replace the turnover it can often be fatal.
“We have written to all the clients and we’ve asked them to contact us so we can move the stock out.”
Kruger founded the company after more than 20 years in senior management roles.
