ANOTHER building company enters administration – 3AW 693AM

Another building company has entered administration.

Tom Elliott received word of the news on Friday afternoon.

Mahercorp, the parent company of Eight Homes and Urbanedge Homes, informed its customers on Friday it would be entering voluntary administration.

It comes after the recent collapse of Porter Davis.

Steve Maher, Director and CEO of Mahercorp, insisted the companys intention was to work with the administrator on a plan that would restructure the business and keep it viable.

Let me assure you again that I intend to work closely with the administrators on a plan to get the business back on track and to finish your homes, he said in the statement.
