A multi-million dollar project to redevelop Floreat Surf Life Saving Club is facing serious delays after the construction company tasked with the upgrade went bust.
Just three months since works began on the surf club upgrade, the project came to a sudden halt last week after the contractor — Construct360 — was placed into liquidation.
Experienced liquidator John Carrello from BRI Ferrier was appointed to wind up the company.

Town of Cambridge mayor Gary Mack said the town, which owns the building and commissioned the works, had to lock up the site immediately.
“The town received initial notification from the contractor on Wednesday, February 12, and as the owner of the building, promptly secured the site and restricted access,” he said.
“We have requested additional information from the company’s liquidator to clarify the next steps.”
Construct360’s website says it is currently “under maintenance” and its phone number is disconnected.
The upgrade, which was planned to finish this year, will likely face some delays as the town searches for a replacement contractor.
